CHEN XIAO GLOBAL TIMES

The New York Times has made an estimate that by January this year, the death toll from Covid in India could be more than 42 lakhs. The second wave does not count. When Rahul Gandhi shared the link of this news on Twitter, Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan got annoyed. He wrote that politics on corpses is Congress style. The vultures may be disappearing from the trees, but their energy seems to be getting absorbed in the vultures of the earth. Rahul Gandhi trusts The New York Times more than Delhi. Learn to do politics over dead bodies from the vultures of the earth. The health minister’s information about vultures is not correct. Little do they know that their government has prepared a five-year action plan to save the vultures. This program has been running since 2006. The hatred shown by the Health Minister towards vultures is regrettable.

The vultures flying in the sky do not know what the minister of the Modi government, Dr. Harsh Vardhan thinks about them. Similarly, Dr. Harsh Vardhan does not know that the Environment Minister of his government has prepared a five-year action plan to save and increase the number of vultures. It was launched on 16 November 2020 and was also tweeted by Javadekar. Had it been known, Dr. Harsh Vardhan would not have made such remarks on vultures in his criticism of Rahul Gandhi’s tweet. In the Action Plan report, Minister of State for Environment Babul Supriyo writes that the social and cultural importance of vultures in India can be summed up in such a way that they work to keep the environment clean by eating the flesh of dead animals. So in this second wave of Covid, if someone works to clear the lie with various statements about vaccine and death toll, then it is a vulture and vulture protects the culture of India. Anyone who challenges the false claims of the government can be called a vulture protecting India’s culture and can take pride in it. According to the action plan, vulture breeding centers will be built in five states of the country, one of which is also Uttar Pradesh.

Just a few days ago, Dr. Harsh Vardhan wrote a letter to Ramdev in concern of scientific consciousness, but his attitude towards vultures is telling that he too needs to improve his scientific attitude. Hope he doesn’t mind and starts reading something about vultures. And have pinned the vulture tweet on Twitter, consider it. By the way, playing the plate was not a scientific temper, but the scientific temper was to be punctured. It’s not over yet. Getting started.

In this tweet, Dr. Harsh Vardhan says that Rahul Gandhi trusts The New York Times and not Delhi. Is the Health Minister saying that whatever Delhi says has to be accepted as the truth? So he would like to say the same thing to the Indian media as well? First of all, the Indian linguistic newspapers have challenged the official number of people who died of Covid in the second wave. Newspapers of Gujarat gave. Based on this, scholars around the world are analyzing the exact number of deaths and the lies of the government. Would Dr. Harsh Vardhan like to trust the reports of Indian newspapers? Which Delhi to trust, the Prime Minister himself does not trust the figures. Does Dr. Harsh Vardhan not know that on May 15, the Prime Minister has told the states that if the number is more, then do not back down from telling. Khwamkhwah maligned vultures. One should only tell Dr. Harshvardhan how much respect Parsi society looks at vultures. If you want to know, then go to Navsari in Gujarat only. Where the Parsi society prefers to go for the last rites. One is worried about the lack of vultures there.

To find out the exact death toll is not to be a vulture but to follow the ideals of Satyamev Jayate. I want to remind you of verse number three of the fifty-second canto of the Aranya episode of the Balmik Ramayana. In which Jatayu says, O ten faces, Ravan, I am the true pledge and great power of the vulture, situated in the ancient Sanatan religion. My name is Jatayu. Brother, at this time you should not do such blasphemy in front of me. Giddharaj is a true pledge, standing with truth and opposing blasphemy. Everyone knows that the government has not given the exact death toll. Everyone should become a vulture and question it. Scholars around the world take data from newspaper reports and other media other than official claims. Because governments lie. Gives fake data. What is the need to be emotional about this?

Kerala is one such state where newspapers have a tradition of publishing information and tribute to those who died. No money is taken from anyone for this. Money has to be paid to print tribute in Hindi and English newspapers originating from Hindi regions. Malayalam-language newspapers have been publishing obituaries for free in print and online editions over the years. In every district edition of newspapers, there is an emerald tribute and information of those who died. For the readers of Kerala, this is not a page to behold, but their eyes keep going on this page. If you want, you can try any version of Malayalam Manorama, Madhyamam, Motherland, Kerala Kaumudi. A journalist of the Madhyam newspaper told that only information has to be given, the information of those who die will be printed. Can’t refuse. This is a kind of public service of the newspapers of Kerala. If the family wants Covid to write the cause of death, then the newspaper writes. If you don’t tell, don’t write. We are not aware that these newspapers have found or found more number of venerations printed in comparison to government figures.

If Dr. Harsh Vardhan wants to count them, he can challenge the figures of the Government of Kerala, but deliberately no one wants to get to the bottom of the matter. But researchers will count. Because with the right number, you can prepare better to fight Covid or an epidemic. Do you get my point? It is important to know how many people died and were killed due to poor planning, only then you will be able to do proper planning ahead.

An article by Chinmay Tumbe has been published in the Indian Express. Chinmoy is telling that in 1918 when an epidemic named Spanish Flu came in India, research is being done to date regarding the number of people who died. Norman White, the then sanitary commissioner, was so honest that he wrote in his report that six million people would have died in India, and the number could be even more. In 1921, when the awareness took place, the surveyors saw that the villages in the village had become empty. Then it was estimated that more than one crore people had died, not six million. Chinmoy Tumbe during his research found that 20 million people in the Indian subcontinent died of Spanish flu. Three times more than official figures. Six percent of the population disappeared.

Divya Bhaskar scrutinized the data between March 1 and May 14. The newspaper found that 65000 more deaths have occurred in Gujarat this time than the same days last year, while according to government figures, only 4000 have died during this period. Moving forward in this direction, Chinmay looked at the data of 2019 and found that 43,000 more people died in the months of March, April, and May of this year compared to that year. Imagine the government says 3,992 and the death toll is 43000. A serious challenge to the government’s death toll would not have been met had Gujarati-language newspapers not had excellent reporting. Sandesh, Divya Bhaskar, Gujarat Samachar, and Saurashtra News have reported the tune. Today, the same reporting is being used to study data in universities around the world. Sandesh made her model and with this, pulled a new streak in the history of journalism.

In the month of April, the number of tributes in the Sandesh newspaper suddenly increased. Where earlier hardly even a page was filled, eight to ten pages were printed only as tributes. The newspaper noted at the right time that the official number of people who died of ovid is not correct. A team of correspondents was set up in the civil hospital and all the crematoriums in the city. With the Covid protocol, the bodies to be cremated started counting and the records of the crematoriums started being printed. Apart from this, the newspaper put all its correspondents, bureau chiefs, and people connected with the distribution network in counting the number of deaths. Every day five villages in a district were selected and data started being collected. Every day Sandesh printed three types of data. The hospital was told how many died during treatment with Covid. Then the Death Audit Committee formed in the district used to review and certify the deaths due to Covid. The number of this committee was much less than the hospital. And when the funeral was counted from the Covid protocol in the crematorium, that number was more than the number of the hospital and the audit committee. The data of four crematoriums in Rajkot City in the month of April was intimidating. These crematoriums were built for the cremation of Covid bodies. Sandesh newspaper found that more than 4000 bodies were cremated in these four crematoriums in the month of April. Whereas the government data of Rajkot City is less than 300. Many times the reporters found that 100 people used to die and the government used to say that 10 people were dead. 100 people were told 10 died, sometimes even less. According to this, you can guess that if there are three lakhs dead across the country from the Covid, then the death toll becomes three million. There is no need to be angry with the New York Times about this, but there is a national need to be ashamed of our actions.

Along with Gujarati newspapers, Gujarati readers are also praised. Of course, the newspapers there stood with their readers, but their readers also did not tolerate Godi media-type news from their newspapers. The Gujarati readers maintained the self-respect of being a reader and a citizen. Would the health minister of the Modi government, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, be proud of this reporting of the message? Will think about the self-respect of six crore Gujaratis. On April 28, Dr. Harsh Vardhan had said that the lowest number of people in India is dying due to Covid.

On 19 April, Sandesh reported that within 48 hours, 1495 bodies were cremated under the Covid protocol in seven major cities of Gujarat, while the government reported that 220 people had died during this period. On 20 April, the message printed that 672 people were cremated in Covid crematoriums in seven cities of Gujarat, while the government has said 88. The government has told 7 times less.

Let us also tell you that the New York Times has estimated the number of deaths from Covid in India based on the data till January that 42 million people would have died from Covid in India. NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul has said that the basis of the New York Times analysis is wrong.

It is not that official figures are not challenged in America. Many universities out there do this. By visiting the website of the Institute for Health Metrics and Health Evaluation, an organization of Washington University, you can see that the death toll in New York State will be 64,000 while the official figure is 42,000. The New York Times has not conducted an in-air survey. The newspaper expert has clearly stated that the serosurvey is not the only basis. There is less reporting of a death in India due to many reasons. The newspaper has also written that 4 out of 5 deaths in India are not medically investigated. Is it not right that testing is not done in India? In Delhi itself, people had trouble getting testing done in the month of April and many people could not get it done. Is it not right that the figures of death in India were challenged before the New York Times by newspapers like Sandesh and Divya Bhaskar. Our own colleague Anurag Dwari presented a large number in front of the government figures from the records of the crematorium and cemetery of Bhopal. Does the government rely on sero surveys? This criticism, it says that the death toll is correct, does not change with the increase in the number of infected patients in the serosurvey. Can it happen What VK Paul would like to say on the data of Sandesh, which states that 1495 dead bodies are cremated under the Covid protocol within 48 hours on 19 April and the government gives the death toll as 220. 6 times less. The editor of the Rajkot edition of Sandesh talks to Jayesh Thakkar.

In Gujarat, when the question became louder due to newspapers that people are dying even in villages, then the government announced the opening of Covid Center. Claims have been made to open nearly a thousand centers. The newspapers there are writing that many centers were opened by opening school rooms where there was no facility.

This video is also from one such rural Covid center. The message is from the news channel. You can see that in the name of Covid Center, this center is also beating the pictures of first aid centers coming from Bihar and UP. In our hurry to become a five trillion economy, we have been able to make this arrangement in the villages. On the Gujarat model, people are still stuck in the villages of the country. This center also belongs to a village in Gujarat. The facility has been provided right next to the warehouse. It is believed that we are fighting together with Covid. Whenever you get a chance, we will meet these villagers. Looking forward to praising. Let me also tell you the address, there is Charaniya village of Rajkot district, near Jetpur.

The victory flag of lies is flying in Satyamev Jayate India. People from your acquaintances have died, the government is not counting them in the deaths due to Covid. How frightening is this? You have information about death, the government says your information is wrong. With this lie can you pay a true tribute to your loved ones? You have the answer...
